I have recently discovered a new store. I’ve walked by it a million times at the mall, but to be honest, I sort of thought it was for “too old” for me.
Whoops! I was totally wrong.
J. Jill has some amazing clothes and now that spring is almost here, it’s a place I’m going to be visiting to better my wardrobe.
They recently introduced a new live-in chino line, complete with ankle pants, boyfriend pants, a skirt and a shirt dress. I don’t own many khaki pants, but I’m sold on these due to the sateen weave used in the design.
I’m a big fan of the ankle pants. If you know me well, you’ll know I’m going to search high and low for the perfect tunic to go with them.

The great thing about chinos is the go with just about anything – a textured sweater, a layered top with a cardigan and even a simple t-shirt. Grab a long necklace and a pair of stud earrings and you’re good to go. In fact I’d buy the entire outfit the model below is wearing (picture features the ankle pants.)
