Y’all know I’m no Martha Stewart or Rachel Ray. Dinner time is hard for me. I don’t hate cooking, but I don’t love it either. I don’t get that high that some people get from whipping something up. I definitely view it as work. So when I had the opportunity to work with FlatOut and try their new pizza flat breads, I was all in.
Last weekend, I had some family over for a “make your own” pizza night. We had all sorts of toppings from pepperoni and mushrooms to artichoke hearts, spinach and goat cheese. Everyone had a ball making their own pizza.
We had three flavor flat breads to choose from – Rustic White, Heritage Wheat or Spicy Italian. I really like the white and the wheat but the spicy is a bit too…well, spicy for me, but my sister and husband loved it.
For dessert, I made a Flavors of Fall pizza complete with Honey Crisp apples and Nutella. It was awesome if I do say so myself.
Want to try it?
Apple Nutella Pizza
1 Apple (sliced thinly)
Smidge of Sugar
Nutella
Cinnamon
Caramel Syrup
Preheat oven to 350. Spray your flat bread with a cooking spray and sprinkle with a little big of sugar. Cook your flat bread for 3-4 minutes. Take out and spread Nutella over the entire thing. Layer the apples on top and sprinkle with cinnamon. Then drizzle caramel over the top. Bake for 5 minutes until crisp. Slice and serve. (You may want to pre-bake your apple slices for a few minutes if you don’t want them a little crispy.)
Yum, right?
I’ve literally been eating these FlatOut pizzas all week. My favorite version so far is mozzarella, spinach, a drizzle of balsamic vinegar and goat cheese. TO DIE FOR.
Each Flatbread has 7 grams of protein and 140 calories. A package contains six flatbreads. Flatout Thin Crust Flatbreads are available at your local Walmart in the Deli/Bakery area.
Your turn to share. What kind of pizza would you make?

I received a stipend and several packets of FlatOut for the purpose of this post. All opinions are my own.
