This afternoon, I was in the car trying to figure out what the heck I was going to make for dinner. It’s a common problem. I feel like we are in a rut and make the same few things OVER and OVER.
I tried to think of a veggie we hadn’t had in awhile and came up with asparagus. Now what to do with it….
Ya’ll I came up with a super delicious dinner and it was SO easy.
I baked up some chicken tenderloins with a little Lowrys Seasoning while the kids were napping. Hardest part:done.
Then I steamed some asparagus for about 5 minutes. I didn’t want it totally done since it still had to bake.
I unrolled a can of Crescent rolls and placed one piece of chicken, two pieces of asparagus and a piece of Muenster cheese. Then I rolled it up and baked the pan for 17 minutes (until the rolls were brown.) I served it alongside some cherry tomatoes.
YUMMY IN MY TUMMY.
I loved it, my husband loved it and my three year old loved it.
We will definitely be making this again.

What you need:
1 package chicken tenderloins
Asparagus
Muenster Cheese
1 Can Crescent Rolls
That’s it! In 45 minutes, dinner was done and only about 10 minutes of that was prep.
What concoctions have you come up with? I’m always looking for easy meals.
I can’t deny my love for those crescent rolls. Love chicken & asparagus but I don’t think I’ve ever purchased Muenster cheese. Have no idea if I’ve eaten it or if I’d like it, but would you think another cheese could serve as a substitute, just in case? Gouda or Havarti maybe? They look great!
