It’s Launch Week!

It’s here!  It’s here!  It’s finally here!

I seriously have been waiting all summer to get my baby moved over to WordPress.  I thank ya’ll a million times over for your patience with me and I hope you like the new branding and design.  Why the change from Tales from a Marketing Mama?  Well, since I just left my job and a few other issues came up, I thought it was time for something new.  I am a HUGE theater buff and have a strong love of all things acting related, so I came up with A Parenting Production.

So, here’s what’s on tap for this week.  Each day I’m going to tell you a little bit more about myself that you probably ever wanted to know AND we’ll have a giveaway to boot. Think quiet time, shopping, organizing, feeding baby and even business/blogging tips. Starting with…

COFFEE!

Love love love.

I may be a bit of a caffeine addict.

I don’t care for most soda, but will take coffee and chai tea any day of the week.

In fact, Starbucks Chai Tea is my absolute favorite.  Pair it with a piece of pumpkin loaf and I’m a happy girl.   I have probably spent way more money on these two things than I care to admit.  Lucky for me, I can cash in my credit card points for Starbucks gift cards.  SCORE!

Since I did just quit my job to stay home with my two children, I am a tad depressed since my coffee/tea trips will be the first to go.  However, I have found the Tazo Chai available at my local grocery story and even though it’s a little pricey, it’s still about six drinks for the price of one.  Go me!

  7. My most favorite coffee drink is a good old medium/dark roast cup of coffee with cream and splenda. Funny that I like such a plain drink since that’s about the only thing I’d say in my life I like the plain way! LOL! Love the new look friend!!!

  10. Yay for the new site! You know I am with you on the Starbucks Chai, but this time of year I especially love it with Pumpkin Spice or Cinnamon Dolce syrup added. And once the red cups come out at Christmas time, I still love the Eggnog Chai that I think you started me on!

  13. I am all about the basics when it comes to Starbucks…love me a grande (or venti) non-fat latte. Boring, I know. 🙂 I do love the chai tea and pumpkin spice latte during the fall though! Oh, and the peppermint latte during the holiday season. Okay, so maybe I’m not totally boring?

  20. Mmmmm love me some coffee. My favorite Starbucks drink is the Iced White Chocolate Mocha with whip and on good days, or bad depending on how you look at it add an extra shot of expresso 🙂

  21. Personally, I am not a coffe drinker. HOWEVER, I LOVE hot chocolate from Starbucks. I get it with extra whip cream and it is to die for!

    My favorite Starbucks drink is a Venti Iced Caramel Macchiato with extra carmel drizzle!

  41. My favorite thing at Starbucks actually isn’t coffee or tea but their Strawberry and Creme Frap. I do enjoy ice coffees though.

  60. I love the White Chocolate Mocha from Starbucks but I only let myself get it when I have a gift card. Right now it has to be decaf which defeats the purpose a bit but that one still tastes good. The pumpkin loaf is yummy, yummy and I do switch to the Pumpkin Spice Latte once in a while for this time of year.

    I love chai tea too but I actually prefer Oregon Chai to the Tazo. I think it is a little sweeter (although they do have slightly sweet and no sugar versions) plus they offer a caffeine free blend which is great for me right now. I also love Earl Grey Tea. My grandma was a tea drinker and got us all started at an early age 🙂

  72. My very favorite coffee is good ole’ french vanilla with a little bit of sugar. I don’t get to splurge on coffee often, great giveaway!

  74. Starbucks – Tall cafe mocha in a grande cup w/ extra whip cream. Mmmmm. mmm. Yesterday, was National Coffee Ice Cream Day… yum!

  76. I love coffee and tea. My favorite coffee is French Vanilla. If I am at Starbucks, I would get an extra hot Skinny Latte.

  77. my husband spends way too much money on his daily coffees at starbucks. i hate coffee, it smells bad, makes your breath smell terrible and tastes even worse and I can’t handle the caffeine headaches. Honestly, I stick with other drinks like lemonana (lemonade slush with mint) in the summer and a nice hot cup of cocoa in the winter. Some nights I do enjoy a cup of green tea though.

  83. Not @ Starbucks, but favorite for homemade right now is a flavor called Texas Chocolate Mudslide. Smooth and very tasty. Also makes a pretty good iced coffee.

  87. I love our local Dutch brothers. But I live so close to starbucks and their frappe’s are irresistable!!!! I could never abandon them. Sometimes I even get the caffeine free chocolatey chunk…I know caffeine free is unheard of but sometimes I just need some CHOCOLATE 🙂

  97. My husband and I are BEYOND addicted to Starbucks! I absolutely love the Coconut Frapaccino and all of the specialty flavors when the holidays start coming around. My husband on the other hand, is a mocha kinda guy. Whether it is hot or cold, he is pretty predictable lol.

  119. Love starbucks!! Also an official stay at home mother of a2nd year montessori student and an 11 month old active baby. I often have “2nd coffee” @around 2 in order to make it through the day. LOVE BEING HOME…dream come true 🙂

  129. Starbucks is the best. I drink whatever dark brew they have cooking, and I drink it black. At home, I brew up a lot of Starbucks and also Peet’s as well as a local roaster called Coffeeam which is about 5 miles from my house so I can actually call and order it, then go pick it up the same day or two. When that place is roasting beans, the whole area smells great!
    My daughter and I are both awaiting Pumpkin latte season at Starbucks. I am not much for sweet drinks, but she can down one every day. There used to be a place here that made the best pumpkin frozen custard, but it went out of biz. Boohoo. Thanks for having the giveaway!

  133. My favorite Starbucks in the summer is mocha chip frappuccino. In the fall my favorite is Pumpkin Spice Latte and in the dead of winter my favorite is White Hot Chocolate!!
