It’s been a long time since I wrote you a letter. My life has changed a lot and I’m sure next year you’ll actually be receiving my WonderBug’s first letter. I’m excited to see what his little heart will desire.
Anyway, since Christmas is now all centered around the kids (as it should be), I thought I’d have just a little bit of fun and put together a wish list should we win the lottery or come into a large sum of money a la Captain Hook’s treasure chest sometime soon.
For the purpose of my list and a little bit of fun, let’s put aside the fact that we need world peace, financial stability and economic prosperity. It’s a bit depressing and sometimes we just need to do something unnecessary and impractical.
So just in case you are going to pop down my chimney next month, here’s what’s on my wish list:
- Shopping Spree at Sephora
I could go crazy here. Top on my list is the Clarisonic Skincare Brush. I have heard amazing things about it and as I’m getting older, I’m having more issues with my skin. Then I would buy all new make-up and brushes. FIELD DAY!
- Ivanka Trump Jaffer Boots
Um, hello! LOVE. WANT. NEED.
- Unlimited Starbucks Card
- This awesome orange Coach Bag
Since quitting my job, I can’t really afford my love of Chai Tea and pumpkin loaf. And now that it’s the holidays, it’s time for Caramel Brulee Latte. YUM!
While I’m asking, a vacation with my husband would be awesome. It doesn’t need to be extravagant like Hawaii or Fiji or anything. I’d take a simple night away at a bed and breakfast, somewhere like Gideon Ridge.
Oh Santa, I appreciate you looking out for me. I know that none of this is in your workshop. But if you could maybe put in a good word with my husband…?
All my love,
Erin

Yes, please. All of the above.

What a cute letter to Santa. I can relate, having not written Santa myself in several decades. I was just at Sephora last evening for a mom’s night out pampering session and I have to say, anything from that little workshop would be much appreciated from most women I know.

I would like a spa weekend away for me and three of my closest friends. Not exactly something that can be wrapped and put under a tree… and yet, it’s what I deeply desire!

Here’s hoping Santa is generous this year. Those boots would look awesome on you!
