So I kind of had a crappy day. I was in a foul mood since there are 2,345 projects at work and they are all due like NOW. I didn’t get done what I wanted but had to leave to pick up the bug.
We get home right as he’s falling asleep so I take his little sleepy head into my room to see if he’ll take a quick snooze. We lay there together for a glorious 5-10 minutes with him just staring at me (and occasionally hitting and scratching at my face :)). Those big brown eyes just melted all my cares and worries away. It was amazing and wonderful. Then he let out a big sigh and rolled over and promptly fell asleep.
My heart is full. I love being a mom!
