He’s here! Wonderbug was born on Monday, December 15 at 7:46 p.m. via C-section. He was 7.1 lbs and 21 inches long.
We’ve been at the hospital since Sunday night. My water broke at home around 4:45 after J and I finished wrapping up the nursery and making a trip to Lowes for blinds. We arrived at the hospital a little after 6 and after spending some time in Triage, we were admitted. Twenty four hours later, I was still at 7cm so they decided to do a c-section. After a long, full day, our little man was FINALLY here.
He’s been a total joy! We are loving getting to know him and are eager to take him home tomorrow. We have one more night at the hospital -giving both him and me a chance to get feeding down a bit more and for me to heal up a bit.
Thanks for all your well wishes! We can’t wait for you all to meet him.
