I realized as I walked to the building restroom today (for the 4th time) that I’m waddling. It seems a little early for that but I honestly can’t remember those types of details from my pregnancy with the Wonderbug.
Waddling. The way everyone can tell you are pregnant just by standing behind you. It’s a joy and a curse really.
I am just over 3 months away from meeting this little girl. We are no more closer to a name than when we found out we were pregnant. The nursery is still Bug’s, but organizing/painting/moving into the BIG BOY room is on the agenda for the holiday break. (Rock on, I took an entire week off!) I only did a small registry today because someone asked.
I don’t figure we need a lot, but some pink and purple clothes will come in handy.
There has been no real time to plan, prepare, digest. I just know she’s coming regardless. And for that, I am thrilled.

December is a busy time for our family. My husband’s birthday was yesterday. The Bug’s two year birthday is next week and his party is this weekend. We’re busy planning family activities and road trips. My birthday is the first week of January. It’s crazy and chaotic and I love every second of it.
I love the bustle of the shopping centers. I love the twinkle of all the lights. I relish in humming and singing Christmas tunes at every turn of the day. I am giddy walking to the mailbox each evening in anticipation of the holiday cards that surely await me. I love the way my house smells with pine, pumpkin and spice.
This time is pure joy for me.
So no matter what I haven’t done, haven’t gotten accomplished or won’t for that matter…I don’t really care right now. Because it’s Christmas. And I’m doing just fine.

I am with you! Jerry's birthday is Christmas Eve and Oscar's is next month and I just love the holidays! Despite the chaos this year, it's still my favorite time. Enjoy your week off!
