We love a good movie night here in my household. In fact, if you go searching for us on a Friday night, you’ll likely find all for of us hunkered down in our bonus room, scanning Netflix, Amazon or Hulu for a good family flick.
We’re getting to the age with the kids where we can venture outside the standard Disney fare, and even enjoy some of our childhood faves.
Of course, with movies, comes popcorn. And the kids and I can put away some popcorn.
But the past few years, the husband and I have struggled a bit. Microwave popcorn is SO easy, but more and more we hear about all the horrible chemicals in the bags. We’ve tried doing it on the stove (I always manage to burn it) and we even tried an air popper – but somehow we always end up back with the microwave bags, much to my husbands’ chagrin.
Until now.
I just discovered the perfect movie night snack–
Quinn Snacks – It seems all our future movie night problems are solved…well, except the battle over picking the actual flick.
First of all, it’s delicious and comes in a variety of flavors. I’m partial to the Parmesan Rosemary and the kids love the Movie Night Extra Butter.
Second, I don’t feel bad for using the microwave. Quinn’s Pure Pop ™ bag, the first in the industry, is chemical, plastic and susceptor free. The paper used in the Pure Pop bag is compostable. Plus, there is nothing artificial in their flavorings and everything is non-GMO.
You pop the popcorn like normal (2-3 minutes, depending on your microwave) and then you add the extra ingredients/flavorings and shake up the bag. That was Miss E’s favorite part!
My husband and I have said for years that it shouldn’t be that hard to make a microwave popcorn without all the yucky stuff in the bag. I’m so happy Quinn Snacks came up with a solution.
Check and see if Quinn Snacks are at a store near you.
