I made it a goal to read 50 books this year. Not only did I hit my goal but I far surpassed it, as I’m at 70 books and hope to squeeze in one or two more before December 31.
Not every book was awesome. Some were total duds, while others were simply fabulous reads. If you want to see my individual reviews, you can follow me on GoodReads. I’m a big fan of Historical Fiction, Chick Lit and Thrillers.
I’m sharing my top 10 favorites of the year. Add these your wish lists or library holds immediately.
My Favorite Books of 2019
- Moloka’i – I’m late to the game on this one, but if you haven’t read it, you simply must. It’s a beautiful piece of historical fiction.
- Daisy Jones and the Six
- The Flight Girls
- How to Walk Away
- A Woman is No Man
- The Unhoneymooners
- The Silent Patient
- Run Away
- Between Shades of Grey Also not a 2019 publication, but a really great, but hard Young Adult/Historical Fiction story.
- Mrs. Everything
