Summer is officially here (as of Saturday anyway) and I am ready to hit the beach. Some of you have been lucky enough to have already been, but we don’t go until next week.
It can’t come soon enough.
Although my days of lounging on the beach, reading leisurely, are stalled out due to my two little ones, I can still dream…and reminisce.
So in honor of that, a few blogging friends of mine have created some great book lists for all you readers out there. I’m covering my all time favorite summer beach reads, Melissa is covering business books, Julie’s sharing her summer reading list and so many more.
And if that wasn’t enough, we decided to give away a Kindle Paperwhite so you’ll be all ready to read too! Plus we threw in a $50 gift card to get your reading collection started.
To enter, simply visit the Rafflecopter Widget below. And don’t forget to visit everyone else’s lists!
Happy Reading!
I’m a sucker for a good book about female friendship, so you’ll notice a bit of a trend in the five books I recommend below. I’ve read all of these more than once and if you like any sort of chick lit, I would bet you will too.
1. Summer Sisters by July Blume
2. Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood: A Novel by Rebecca Wells
3. Best Friends Forever by Jennifer Weiner
4. Tully by Paulina Simons

This book might be my favorite book of all time. It’s been at least five years since I’ve read it, but I’m downloading it on my Nook and rediscovering it this summer. It’s the story of Tully Maker and her life through friendship and surviving tragedy. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
5. The Saving Gracesby Patricia Gaffney
This contest is in now way sponsored by Amazon or Kindle. No compensation was received for this post, but it does contain affiliate links. The giveaway is a result of blogger collaboration. All opinions are my own.
