As I get older and my body (ahem) changes, I struggle with buying jeans. In fact, last spring, I had to purge my closet because my favorite LUCKY jeans were just a little snug in areas that they didn’t used to be. Having children will do that to a girl.
Brands that used to be amazing just don’t work for me anymore. Do you remember the days of being able to just pick out a pair and buy them without trying them on? (Ok, maybe I was 20 when this happened.) Well, I HAVE FOUND THAT AGAIN!
LOFT Modern jeans are amazing. Bonus, they aren’t just jeans as I recently bought a pair of cords too. They come in skinny, straight and boot cut. The best part (in my opinion anyway) is that the they aren’t cut super low, so I don’t have to worry about my muffin top! Woohoo!
They pair well with everything, especially my favorite top of the moment – The Tunic.

I just wrote on my blog today that I have been unable to find a pair of jeans that fit me well in the two and a half years since I had my daughter. It’s infuriating! I’ll have to give the Loft jeans a test run…it may be worth it to spend a few more bucks than I do for the Old Navy variety.

Ooh! Thanks for the jean tip! I just lost a pair (yes, you may lose kid socks, but I somehow lost a whole pair of adult-size jeans somewhere between the laundry basket and my closet).
