I spent last weekend with some of the best dressed people on the planet. No seriously. I was in awe at the shoes, the tops and the dresses. Did I mention the shoes?
Mom 2.0 was fancy y’all. In fact, it was so fancy that I found myself singing Iggy Azalea for most of the weekend. (Sorry to those who I infected with my ear worm.)
We started off Thursday evening with a lovely garden party. I wore a fantastic number I picked up at Marshall’s just before the trip. It looks a little nicer without the cardigan but it was a tad chilly.
Friday was about comfort and style. I chose a Land’s End sheath dress with a yellow sweater from Chaps. It was so comfortable and even had pockets. SCORE! I wasn’t alone in the Lands End look. I saw many other sporting their awesome spring dresses.
Saturday I decided to wear my first Stitch Fix purchase. I am in love with shirt from ezra. It’s totally my style and has me super eager for my next fix (due the last week of May – squee!) I paired it with my LOFT skinny jeans.
Then came the Iris Awards. RIDICULOUS. Everyone looked spectacular. I, not having the budget for anything new, scoured my closet and was pleased to find this black number I got at Ross four or five years ago.
Seriously, the entire weekend just made me want to go shopping. But since I’m not winning the lottery any time soon, I’ll settle for pinning everything to my fashion board on Pinterest.
