Oh Friday, Saturday, and Sunday! How I used to long for you, pine for you. And now, with two kids, nothing much changes except that I have some help since the hubs is home.
On Friday, we woke up to Miss E. having a horrible rash for her Amoxicillin. So I ignored the pile of laundry learing at me from the couch and ff to the pediatrician we went. Low and behold, she’s allergic. (Of course she is.) So, we got another prescription and headed to the mall. I was feeling super cooped up since we’d been home all day, every day since Monday. We had nice lunch, played a bit in the kid area and mama got a yummy iced coffee. Let’s not discuss how many calories were probably in that thing.
Saturday was fairly uneventful. We started our morning at the YMCA. Woohoo, Zumba! (No, I did not get a photo.) Then I hit up the chiropractor (oh how I love him!) and Bug and I went to a birthday party. After we got the kids down for bed, the hubby and I settled in on the couch to watch Prometheus. DUDE! That movie freaked me out.
Today, we started our morning playing on our bed, then hit up Costco. I don’t know why but Costco with the kids is pretty much hell on earth. Bug doesn’t listen and whines about snacks the whole time. E won’t ride in the cart and wants to walk. It’s very hard to focus on what we want and need. I think from now on, we just need to manage our expectations. It’s going to be chaos and we should just accept it. I am now sitting in Starbucks, writing and emailing approximately 15 people back who I owe emails to. I didn’t get a whole lot done this week. But that’s ok. Sometimes that happens. Next week will be better. It’s now time for me to brave Walmart (UGGGG! But I’m right here so it seems silly to go elsewhere. I am making my first quiche tonight. Pray I don’t mess it up.)
Not nearly as many photos this weekend as I would have liked, but we were busy. Thanks Melissa for hosting this again! As hard as it is to keep track of seven days in a row, it’s worth it when you look back on it.

Costco is a nightmare for us too! The only thing I like are the big shopping carts so they can both sit in there. And yeah, we both have big A laundry piles. Amazingly, I actually whittled mine down for once. Thanks for linking up again this year!!
