Time is flying by!
Aidan was 12 weeks yesterday and I am already on my first full week back at work. Last week was a HUGE deal. I dropped him off at daycare last Wednesday for a few “practice” hours, so I could run a few errands and get some things taken care of before having my days consumed by work. I got him all settled and as soon as I got into the car…I started crying. It was so hard to leave my baby! Of course, he was totally find and had a good time playing with his two teachers.
On Thursday, we decided that Jason should take him and pick him up, so I could truly focus on being at work. My first day was a whirlwind. We have so many projects going on; I know it’ll take awhile for me to get into the true groove.
On Friday, Aidan met the last of his grandparents – Nonie. GJ and Nonie came into town for a wedding, so they got to spend a bit of time with him. After an exhausting day, he slept 8 HOURS! That is the first time he’s gone through the night. (Of course, he hasn’t done it since, but that’s ok. I know he’ll get there in his own time.)
On Saturday, Aidan got to see ALL of his grandparents. He started the morning with Nonie and GJ, and then we went to a party at Jason’s mom’s house where Aidan hung out with G-Ma (my mother) and Mom-T (J’s mom). It was a BIG day!
I need to upload some new pictures as little man is growing like a weed. He is smiling and laughing all the time now, and we are slowly getting the hang of holding our head up. 🙂
