It all began with that shoe on the wall.
A shoe on a wall…? Shouldn’t be there at all!
– Wacky Wednesday by Theo Lesieg (aka Dr. Seuss)
Whew! We made it half way through the week. I didn’t take many pictures at all probably due to taking OVER 100 on Tuesday.
Hump Day started out pretty typical. Kids hanging on the bed while I get ready moderately presentable. I got Miss E fed, then Bug and I both ate some Cinnamon Bread. Then I cleaned up cat barf. Story of my life. (I love my cats; I do. BUT…)

Miss Miss and I dropped Bug off at school and then hit up Discount Tire. Hubby has been at me for weeks to get my tires rotated and balanced. Here’s the reminder that hubby stuck to the backdoor on Monday.
25 minutes later, we were headed home so Miss could nap and I could attempt to get an hours worth of work done before getting her back up to go pick up brother.
Our afternoon was pretty low-key since it was so yucky and rainy out.

We did manage to hit up Target for an afternoon outing. Then it was movie time. We watched Princess and the Frog, which I had never seen. Really cute.
My evening was awesome. I went out with my girlfriends to celebrate Heather’s birthday. I clean up nice right? We hit up Brio and had good times and good eats. Unfortunately I was developing a mega-migraine and it put just a teeny damper on the outing.

By the time I got home, both kidlets were in bed and I was right behind them after popping some Excedrin and getting an ice pack. Hubby was super nice to me and rubbed my head and shoulders. I thought I’d be asleep quickly but E was up at 10:30 just screaming and then when she finally was asleep, Bug came downstairs. Damn. I didn’t fall asleep until after 1 a.m.
On to today ( Thursday)… where I will attempt to time-lapse our bedtime routine since the morning is totally out due to my being so completely out of it and strung out on caffeine.
Favorite kid quote today:
(talking to his sister at breakfast) When you get a little bit older, I will teach you to play baseball and get a home run.”
is that a Clothes Hound left of houston sweater I spy?
Why yes…yes it is 🙂
What Mary said!
And Bug says the most hysterical things!
I love the TIRES written on the board. Hubby was at me for weeks recently about my tires too. LOL
