Whew…this week was exhausting!
Work is utter insanity as we are gearing up for the All Baby and Child Show in Las Vegas in two weeks. It’s going to be a fantastic show as we are debuting some new and exciting items (Stay tuned for my debut VLOG posts featuring my new Logitech Webcam P9000 courtesy of the Logitech Mom Mixer with MomSelect I attended last week! Then, at the homefront, we have been experiencing some MAJOR developments. First off (Development #1), on Thursday night, the bug experienced his first “crawl”. I mean, literally, J and I were encouraging him as he rocked back and forth on his knees and low and behold, one knee moved forward and then the other! WOOHOO! Great success!
He didn’t do it much at school the next day, but yesterday and today, it’s been an entirely new world for him…and us. J spent his morning installing the wall mounts for our book shelf and we are quickly realizing which items need to be moved to a higher shelf.
Development #2 – When I went in to get him out of bed on Friday morning, my little Wonderbug was SITTING UP. I couldn’t believe it. There he was just chillin’, sitting up right all by himself. I was so proud.
Development #3 – The top left tooth that has been struggling to break through for weeks has finally shown itself.
Development #4 – My grandmother is in town this weekend and we ordered KFC’s new grilled chicken last night. The bug got his first taste of chicken (along with green beans, mashed potatoes and biscuit) and loved it. Well, at least we think he loved it, since he doesn’t discriminate amongst food groups and has never displayed any sort of emotion over food (except for the avocado and squash a few months ago which he clearly disliked.) He’ll eat anything.
Whew. I am tired just typing all of this. And I know the bug is tired…every day is filled with new, fantastic things. This morning we discovered a box with travel shampoos — it’s the “it” toy of the moment. I love watching him as he discovers life around him. What a joy!
Until tomorrow…

I am following you from MBC. I hope you’ll check out my blog and follow too. I post freebies, deals and giveaways for mom and baby daily!
