My little man is two months old today. We marked the occasion by taking professional photos last weekend with my favorite photographer, Danielle Anthony. Check some of these out!
Now I can finally get out a birth announcement. I can’t believe it’s taken me this long…oh well. I figure most people will still like to see a cute little photo of him.
I feel like I say this a lot but he really is such an amazing baby. Jason and I got really lucky. I only wish he’d sleep more at night. I’m a tad worried about when I go back to work. I might be a walking zombie for the first few weeks. Speaking of that, I go back in 2.5 weeks. It makes me SO sad to even think about it. I am about 40% ready to return to work, but 60% just wants to stay home. Part of me is eager to get back to a place where I can have adult conversations and feel challenged (in a way different way than motherhood….because obviously I am challenged enough at home!) BUT I worry about leaving him with strangers. I worry that he’ll miss me. I know that I’ll get to know his caretakers and I’m sure they’ll grow to adore him, but it’s just not the same. Oh well, enough of that for now.
Enjoy the photos. He’s taking a nap (and so is his daddy!) so I need to use this time to grab some coffee and get dressed for the day!
