Last night was a great night in the Lane household. Not only did Aidan’s umbilical cord FINALLY fall off (yeah, he has a belly button!) but he slept for 5 HOURS straight from 9:30 to 2:45. Yippee!!!
He is such a joy! He’s smiling a lot more these days, making it a lot harder for Jason to leave for work in the mornings.

Oh, wow!!! Congrats on the belly button, those can be stubborn little things! And so glad you guys got some rest. I just hope you still weren’t waking up to check on him like I always did when Kate actually slept at that age.
Yippee!! I had the same experience as Heather. Hannah would randomly sleep for really long periods and I would either wake up in a panic to make sure she was breathing or with severe engorgement/leaking…..disposable breast pads are your friend!
