I love fall fashion. Dressing in tall boots, sweaters and jeans makes me incredibly happy. Getting dressed is easy for me. Dressing my kids, on the other hand, during these colder months can be much more challenging.
Take my son. Lover of athletic wear, shorts and sports jerseys. He’s not a fan of jeans or anything with buttons or zippers. So we stock up on lined athletic pants, thermal shirts and long-sleeve tees. This way he’s always ready for P.E., recess or exploring the neighborhood.
You can imagine how fun it is getting him to dress up for a special occasion. Whenever we have to get a little “fancy”, it is guaranteed to end up in an argument. I try to avoid it, but sometimes it’s necessary. I want to let him be himself, so we go for sweaters that zip up or come off easily, and khaki or navy pants that have an elastic waist.
Then there’s my little miss, my fashionista. She is VERY opinionated about what she wears and she’s not a huge fan of any pants that make her “itchy”. We live in leggings, dresses and tunic tops, which makes dressing for the holidays a lot easier. This one never minds an excuse to get fancy. Add in some glitter or sparkles and she’s set.

Everything!! LOL Their clothes are so durable and made with quality they last. I will have my 5th grandson Tuesday and I always buy them their coming home outfit at Osh Kosh or Carters. I just love all their baby clothes. Their little pajamas for the little ones are so cute and their sweatpants, jackets, shirts are great for my older grandsons. I’m so glad they started making the bigger sizes.
