Win new and improved Pampers Cruisers {sponsored post}

March 26, 2014 By Erin L. Leave a Comment

It’s hard to believe that it’s been six months since Miss E last wore a diaper. Diapers were such a huge part of my life for FIVE years. Five years of praying for no leaks. Five years of hearing the swish, swish, swish as my little ones ran through the house.

My best friend just had a baby and she’s back in newborn diaper territory. She held them up when I got to her house the other day and I literally squealed in delight. They are SO TINY!

Her toddler, on the other hand, just started wearing size 4s, and they are starting to talk potty-training.

Time slows down for no one.

For my family, Pampers was the main brand of diapers that we used. We loved that Pampers Cruisers (available in sizes 3-7) allow the little ones to run around, jump, and play in comfort.

Pampers has made some major changes in their diapers including a 20% increase in absorbency, so baby can PLAY longer without being interrupted for a diaper change. This means more times down the slide or on the swing for baby, more fun crawling and running around the park … experiences that we know matter most. Other improvements have been made to graphics, packaging, absorbency, and cleaning on wipes.

Buy now on Pampers.com You can visit Pampers on Twitter and Facebook too!

A letter to my daughter on her third birthday

Oh my sweet peanut, I look at you and my heart swells. I can’t believe you are three! This age is such FUN. You dance, twirl, sing, sass, jump, run and yell. Your vocabulary grows by leaps and bounds every single day. Admittedly, I’m a little sad. As of a few weeks ago, you actually… [Read More]

Divergent Movie Review: My Thoughts

I have some advice for all of you that read Divergent and loved it, adored it, and raved about it. LOWER YOUR EXPECTATIONS! If you lower your expectations, you will enjoy the movie. As for me, I left unsatisfied.  But I went in with high expectations. I wanted amazing. I wanted intensity. I wanted… [Read More]

J. Jill debuts new chinos just in time for spring

March 19, 2014 By Erin L. Leave a Comment

I have recently discovered a new store. I’ve walked by it a million times at the mall, but to be honest, I sort of thought it was for “too old” for me. Whoops!  I was totally wrong. J. Jill has some amazing clothes and now that spring is almost here, it’s a place I’m going… [Read More]

Make sure your kids hear you say “I’m sorry.”

Make sure your kids hear you say “I’m sorry.”

Parenting. It’s such a crazy journey. There’s no guide book, no how-to manual. It’s all flying by the seat of your pants and praying you’re doing something right. Sometimes we do things we aren’t proud of. That’s where I am. Sitting at the crux of feeling guilty and knowing everyone makes mistakes. See, I’ve become… [Read More]

There’s just something about a newborn baby

March 12, 2014 By Erin L. Leave a Comment

Oh that sweet little baby smell.  Those light little sighs. Gassy grins. I just can’t even. Coleen had her baby boy last week, and today the kids and I went over to meet him. My ovaries are singing LOUDLY. I mean, we’re done. It’s all but official, but oh I can’t help thinking “what if”…. [Read More]

My creativity is zapped

March 4, 2014 By Erin L. Leave a Comment

We’re home again. No preschool due to ice, which is totally INSANE since I was in flip flops the day before yesterday. Stupid Mother Nature. Can’t winter just go already? (I’m currently writing my own winter lyrics to Let It Go in my head. The kids are whining and my head’s going to explode. Coffee… [Read More]

Quick and easy Easter gift: no craftyness required

February 28, 2014 By Erin L. 40 Comments

I know, I know!  St. Patrick’s Day isn’t even here yet and I’m talking about Easter.  But it is the next major holiday (April 20) and the stores are already stocked with all sorts of decor and goodies. How do you celebrate?  A big church celebration?  Neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt? Family dinner? Regardless, I’m sure… [Read More]

All the parenting advice you need in four words

Parenting is like a health fad. Eggs are bad for you; no, wait, now they are okay.  Don’t eat red meat!  Wait, here’s a diet entirely based upon protein. What’s a person to do? Yesterday, I wrote about an article that’s in the April issue of Parents magazine talking about the 10 Things You Should… [Read More]
