I know there’s all sorts of articles and posts out there telling us all the reasons that TV is bad for our kids. But you know what? Sometimes a show or movie is the only way I can get my kids to understand something. Sometimes they need to visualize it instead of hearing me talk on and on about it. Sometimes a movie will explain what’s about to happen a lot better than I can.
Think about the milestones that happen in our lives. There are the big ones like college graduation, weddings, moving and birth of a child. Then are the little ones, ones that are just as worth capturing and remembering. For us, it’s things like starting kindergarten and first baseball practice or gymnastics class. How about a first haircut or your first trip to Disney World? All of those are mini milestones that are worth celebrating.
As you’re trying to prepare for a family trip or an extra special first, I guarantee Netflix has something to offer to help get everyone ready and excited for the big event.
