Quick and easy Easter gift: no craftyness required

Celebrate with HERSHEY Easter Baskets

I know, I know!  St. Patrick’s Day isn’t even here yet and I’m talking about Easter.  But it is the next major holiday (April 20) and the stores are already stocked with all sorts of decor and goodies.

How do you celebrate?  A big church celebration?  Neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt? Family dinner?

Regardless, I’m sure you know you’re going to be eating a ton of candy around the holiday. (If you don’t, please don’t tell me. I like to pretend everyone is lacking in the willpower department.)

I’m a sucker for Easter candy.  Pass me a bag of Cadbury Mini Eggs and you’ll find one happy camper. (Don’t ask me to share!) But I’m not a very creative person. We don’t do a lot of crafts in this house and I’m not one to get super creative with my baking.

However, I love giving little gifts to neighbors, teachers and friends to show my appreciation. So I came up with a fun and easy gift that you and your kids can make for whomever you want. I have a feeling our grandmothers will be on the receiving end of ours.

Supplies:

1 small Easter Basket
Pastel tissue paper
1 block of green floral foam
JOLLY RANCHER Easter Lollipops
REESE’s Reester Bunnies or CADBURY Eggs

floral foamStart by pushing your lollipops into the floral foam. I used three but you can do whatever as many as you want. Then wrap your foam into tissue paper (you may need some ribbon to tie it together). Assemble it into your basket and add your Reester Bunnies or CADBURY Eggs around the side. Voila! You’re done.

I’m sure you can make yours look much cuter than mine, but I was pretty pleased with how they turned out. I found my baskets at Walmart for just over $1, so for a small amount of money, you can make a pretty sweet little gift.
