Game Day Appetizer: Loaded French Fry Bake

January 31, 2016 By Erin L. 1 Comment

The Big Game is just a week away and I know everyone here in North Carolina is planning their celebration. If I’m being honest, most years I just care about the food, the company and the commercials. But THIS year, I might actually watch the game. GO CAROLINA!

As we all get amped up for Carolina to put down Denver, we’re also pulling together our favorite game day appetizers and pot luck items to take to our neighborhood get together.  Now I don’t really cook and I’m not super creative. I need easy and yummy.

So this year, I put together an assortment of cheesy ranch goodness using Naturally Fresh® Classic Ranch. It was SUPER easy and incredibly tasty.

Loaded Ranch French Fry Bake

Ingredients:
2-3 packages of your favorite frozen potatoes (I used crispy fries, crinkle fries and tater tots!)
1 package shredded cheddar cheese
1 chopped green onion
Bacon bits
Naturally Fresh® Classic Ranch
Salt to taste

To start, assemble the potatoes on a baking sheet and bake according to directions. (Most should be 425 degrees for 20 minutes.) Then layer the fries/tots in a baking dish and sprinkle with cheese and bacon bits. Bake for five additional minutes, until cheese is melted.  Add green onions and a smidge of salt. Then sprinkle the ranch across the top.  Voila! You’re done.

Naturally Fresh Classic Ranch

Naturally Fresh® does not use artificial thickeners, monosodium glutamate (MSG), an artificial flavor enhancer, or artificial preservatives or flavors, which is totally awesome. Plus, it’s one of the best ranches I’ve tasted. (And I’ve tasted a lot!) It was perfect for this recipe and as dip for all the veggies in our veggie tray.

You can find Naturally Fresh in the refrigerated section of your grocery store. Visit naturallyfresh.com to find a store near you.

I will have to look for this brand. I love Ranch – so if you say it is one of the best Ranches you have tasted….I’m in.
