I’m going to be honest here. When I first got the invite to check out the new Earth Fare store at Park West Village, I almost declined. There’s a store about four miles from me and I don’t love it. It’s dark and uninviting, which is weird to me for a store focused on health and livelihood.
But boy am I glad I changed my mind.
The new store is a completely different look and feel. It’s bright and organized exactly how you’d expect it to be. The staff was super friendly and I learned a lot.
For instance, did you know Earth Fare doesn’t sell anything with high fructose corn syrup or artificial sweeteners? They also leave out trans-fats, bleached flour and all things with artificial color. That is SO cool. You can order a cake from their bakery but don’t expect to see the bright colors you do at other groceries.
They have a huge bulk department with flour, nuts, trail mix and candy. You can even grind up your own nut butter! (The honey roasted peanut butter was quite tasty!) Miss E. was super happy to get to taste test some of their trail mix offerings.

All their meat is antibiotic and synthetic growth hormone free AND they offer a huge variety of organic items. Think eating organic is too expensive? Well, Earth Fare offers their own private label. They also source local and try to use items from within a 100 mile radius of each store. And don’t worry about not being able to find it – everything is labeled with big signage for Local and Gluten-Free.

Even though it’s a bit further from me, I will definitely be paying the Park West Village store a visit or two. Or maybe I’ll give my store another chance. It has all the same products AND someone suggested that it might be due for a renovation sooner rather than later.
Oh and another sign that Earth Fare is a good establishment? They gave Miss E a cupcake and sang “Happy Birthday” to her at the end of the tour.
Do you have an Earth Fare near you? I’m giving away a $50 gift certificate, so get excited. You can’t go wrong with free groceries.
Thank you to Earth Fare for inviting me on the tour and providing me with two $50 gift cards. All opinions are my own.

I think we have visited the Brier Creek store twice at the most. The Morrisville store is like a whole new experience! And so fun they gave E a cupcake. 🙂 Do their chocolate covered banana chips count as a healthy snack? They certainly are tasty!
