Um, yum! It’s National Doughnut Day (who came up with that? The Salvation Army of all places) and that means FREE DOUGHNUTS!
It won’t do anything good for my diet, but I think the kids and I will roam around this afternoon and find us a tasty afternoon treat.

– All Krispy Kreme stores across the participating are offering a free donut of ANY variety to customers.
– Dunkin Donuts is offering a free donut with any beverage purchase.
And if you don’t care about a free one, you can always stop by my personal favorite, Daylight Donuts on Creedmoor Rd. All their donuts are nut-free and are made fresh daily! And don’t forget the Hot Minis at Sola Coffee Cafe on Lead Mine!
