Woohoo! We made it through the week (well the week days anyway). Are ya’ll bored to tears with my life yet? Just a little bit more, I promise.
Today was a bit out of the ordinary for us. I had to go into my old office for some meetings, so we got going a bit earlier than usual…which meant brushing our teeth was essential. (I won’t lie; some days it’s noon before I realize that hasn’t happened yet. Ew, I know.)

Around 10, our babysitter Miss Molly (are you singing yet?) came over and she and Bug watched me leave. (Miss E was already down for her morning nap.)

Off I went for a catch-up session with my former CEO and then a marketing lunch with my former marketing associate. I’m still doing about 15-20 hours a month for them. So I got all caught up on all the strategery and then we talked Facebook campaigns and PR tactics over a spinach calzone (I should NOT have eaten the whole thing! Ugg!)

After I got home, Bug wasn’t napping. (Surprise, surprise.) So I let him watch cartoons on my bed and hung out with Miss E. while listening to the Mumford and Sons station on Pandora. It was then that I realized I DESPERATELY need something to go on this wall. Oh well, some day.

Then I went to check on Bug. What do you think I found?

I didn’t want him to sleep too long since I knew that would mean a super late night for us…so around 4:30 my mom came over and we gently woke him up. CRANK POT! But he warmed up quickly when we started playing with Miss E and she started eating her feet. He thought that was HILARIOUS. A fun fest ensued.

We then went for a walk and ran into some neighbors. That was great because whenever Bug naps late, I need to find a way to get some energy out of him. After that, my mom left and Bug and I ate leftovers. Daddy had to work late.
Hubby got home around 7 and we hit the bath with both kids.

Bug was finally in bed around 9:15 and I came downstairs to type this up. I also decided I needed a bowl of Multi-Grain Cheerios and Rice Krispies. My husband thinks I’m going to turn into a bowl of cereal. Dude, it’s the best snack.
So yeah, tomorrow is Saturday. No idea what we’re going to do, but hoping to hit up a pumpkin patch. Stay tuned.

Those pictures of Miss E sucking on her toes are PRECIOUS. We have our second coming in about 2 months and I can’t wait to see things like that in the house again.
All the snuggly cute bed pictures are SO awesome. Love how it captures some downtime with mama.
And the picture with the lighting is really cool!
Sounds like fun to me!
The paragon of unedsrtadinng these issues is right here!
