Why I Write

July 25, 2010 By Erin L. Leave a Comment

title-200x200

I write because I want to.
I write because I can.

I write because I have things to say, because I have things inside that desperately need to come out.

I write because I’m ecstatic.
I write because I’m bored.
I write because I’m moody.
I write because I’m EMOTIONAL.

I write because I want to share.
I write because I have to share.

I write to foster creativity.
I write with the intent to inform.

I write sometimes just to write with no purpose or intention.

I write without the notion of debate.

I write some days because I feel that it’s all the I have…my words on paper to document my emotion of a particular time, day, hour.

I write because it moves me.
I write for the song in my heart.

I write for hope.
I write for strength.

I write for me.
I don’t write for you, though I hope that something will either make you laugh with (or at) me, cry with me or say “ME TOO”.

I write because I feel like it.

I write because it’s right for me.
I write because I have to.
It’s who I am.

I like this! I think almost any of us who consider ourselves a writer, blogger, journalist or what ever you want to call yourself, can relate!
