I am pretty excited about tomorrow. I’ve been asked to sit on a panel during Social Media Bootcamp sponsored by the Triangle American Marketing Association with some awesome social media gurus. We’ll be discussing Crucial Connections: Effective social media and blogger outreach and engagement. I hope I’m able to provide some insight, particularly on the mom blogging world since I have both brand and personal experience.
Not only do I get to share my knowledge with others, but I get to stay for the whole conference and LEARN from others. Seriously, I’m tickled pink. Crisis management, location based marketing, and analytics — all major things I need to know about to do my job better.
So if you follow me on Twitter, here’s a heads up that I’ll probably be posting a bunch from the event. If you want to follow along, look for the hashtag #smbc2010.
If you want to learn more and get a sneak peek at the contest of the boot camp, check out some of these YouTube videos (and don’t ask what’s up with my hair.)

You're going to do great! I know all of the people there will be honored to hear your insights. Good luck girlfriend! Bring back some good tips for the SCI team 🙂
Good luck tomorrow! I want every last detail please.
I'll be there for work — looking forward to seeing you 🙂
WOw! I can't wait to hear how it was! I wonder where I can hear about stuff like this? I'd love to attend more NC social media events!
