I’m sitting in a room with six other fabulous women and we’re all talking about something we love – blogging and social media.
Over the past few months, I’ve realized how important it is to have a group like this and that I’m also extremely lucky as many people don’t have this type of true community.
My closest friends don’t blog and very few are on Twitter. We have a great time talking about our kids, husbands, life in general, shopping, our jobs and our other commonalities – but if I want to talk about how to increase my blog traffic or how I’m having writer’s block, this isn’t the right group.
My bloggy group is fantastic. We talk, brainstorm, vent, write, get creative, and dig deep into the social media outlets that we use on a daily basis. It has been so helpful for me, especially as I’ve been in a bit of a social media funk these last few months. I know majority of it has been my work load and the pregnancy, but I have been able to maintain my presence through this increasingly important group of women.
Community is vital….for everyone and every thing. Whether you write, enjoy music, theater, yoga, etc. you need an outlet where you can be with likeminded people. I have found mine.
Good luck finding yours.

Yes, I agree. A circle of friends online helps the bloggy community so much. And when a friend is going through a difficult time they can have their support team guest blog for them.
