Funny things my kid says/does

April 20, 2012 By Erin L. Leave a Comment

Dudes! My kid is really starting to be hilarious.  He show off his crazy dance movies, he makes funny faces and he tries to make up jokes.

He’s at such a random age (3). He’s trying so hard to find his place in the great big world, learn about and master his emotions, and master all the vocabulary he can.  He can’t say F’s so he’s always telling us how “tunny” he is.

Lately we’ve been in a love/hate relationship with the threes. Bug is either totally amazing/adorable/awesome or he is a total pain in the rear. There is no either/or.

But the good far outweighs the bad when he does/says things like this…

“Mommy, can we snuggle all day long?” (The answer is OF COURSE!)

“G-Ma (Momma-T, Kalin or whoever else is leaving our house) Maybe next time you come over we can have a bear hunt!”

Daddy (To the tune of “Chic:Le Freak”) upon leaving the house “Ahhh, peace out!” Bug’s response: “Ahhhh, stay here!”

“Mom, why do they call these brownies?” Me: “I don’t really know sweetheart.”  “Um, because they are brown.”

“When (Miss E.) gets big, I’m going to teach her to play basketball and soccer.”

My favorite thing this week was not that fun for him, but it was the intent behind it that I loved.  He was yelling at us that Miss E was trying to crawl into the bathroom.  As I ran to get her, he sat up on the toilet to protect her from pulling up on it and…the seat was up. So he fell in…backwards…fully clothed.

Bless his little heart.  All in the name of saving his sister!
