Every morning when Miss E wakes up, this is what I have to deal with. Her hair is a big, tangled mess. I absolutely love that she has naturally curly hair, but it is hard to manage. I often beg her to put it up in a ponytail just to save us the trouble. I can’t brush it; it’s get too frizzy and then we lose the curls. If I try to use a comb or pick to get the knots out, you’d best grab some ear plugs because my baby can scream.
We’ve tried a variety of ideas and products, and have finally found some things that make our tangled life easier.
Introducting SoCozy, a line of products are non-toxic and made without parabens, sulfates, phthalates, synthetic color, propylene glycol, gluten, wheat or nuts.
It’s sold at Targetand most of their line is between $10 and $15.
We use the Cinch 3 in 1 Shampoo, Conditioner and Body Wash in the tub. If she has extra knots, I then use the Cinch Super Hydrating Conditioner. This allows me to brush out her hair once we get out of the tub, TANGLE FREE!
Once her hair is dry, I add a dime-sized amount of the Behave Soft Hold Styling Cream. The photo below shows her hair after it’s air dried and then after she slept on it and we applied the Cinch Detangler Spray.
I am so thankful to have finally found a line that works well for her hair, plus all the products smell AMAZING! Berry whip and Mango? YUM!
SoCozy also makes BOO! – a lice prevention shampoo and spray. Let’s pray we never have to use it, but it’s good to have in our bathroom cabinet. (Miss E says to me – “What are these ones for, Mama?” I told her and this is the face she made!) I feel ya, kid.

omg – we totally have the rats’ nest hair in the mornings. We’re getting better at managing it, but I’ll check this out when we run out of what we currently use!

I FIGHT my daughter on her hair daily……I think I will try this as so far nothing seems to make a difference. Most detanglers out there make her hair look dirty, good to know there are some more natural alternatives too!
