Every night before the kids go to bed, we brush the “sugar bugs” off their teeth. My six year old can do it by himself (with a bit of supervision). My four year old puts up a fight, but usually relents.
Two minutes. It’s not that long really.
Two minutes can prevent cavities and oral infections which cause severe pain and can increase a child’s risk for dental issues and poor health throughout their lives. I know most kids fight it and it can be a pain to stay on them, but as this cute litte PSA shows, it might be one of the easier things we have to do as part of this crazy parenting gig.
3 in 4 parents report that their kids sometimes or frequently forget to brush their teeth, according to a national survey just released by the Ad Council. I believe it. I can’t tell you how many mornings we are running out the door and I’m thinking “crap, did she brush her teeth?”
As a thank you for reading and watching, we have a $100 Amazon Gift Card up for grabs. Use it to stock up on tooth brushes (just kidding!) Enter via the Rafflecopter widget below.
