Tonight, approximately 50% of the population will be disappointed.
But after we all finish celebrating or throwing a private (or public) pity party, we all need to put on our big person panties and remember a few things.
WE ARE LUCKY!
We have a voice. We have the right to use that voice and so many people in other countries do not.
The President does not act alone. He has to work with Congress to get things done. They need to work together. After tonight, we should all pray that they find the strength and decorum to do just that – work together, both sides.
Every few years, things change. A Democrat wins. A Republican wins.
We all get our chance.
We all have our opinions.
We should celebrate our right to vote and live in this great nation.
