1. Don’t forget a good pump.
2. Make sure you ask for a fridge. Most hotels won’t charge you if you’re nursing.
3. Bring storage bags as they take up less room than bottles.
4. Bring ice packs and a soft cooler or two.
5. Be sure to tell security at the airport that you have breastmilk in your bag. (I got through LGA today with absolutely no problems or questions asked.)

This is great advice. Simple, and easy to manage. So glad to know that hotels don’t charge if you are a nursing mom!
I love the Wha Wha Wha at the end. made me giggle!
And don’t forget #6:
No matter HOW SHORT your flight is, pump at the airport before boarding…you never know when you’ll be stuck for hours on the tarmac.
I also got a note (written on a prescription pad) from D’s pediatrician saying I was breastfeeding and to allow me to carry my supplies.
