Yup, still here. Here we are at 40 weeks pregnant… (for the friggin’ life of me I can’t figure out why Blogger is loading this picture sideways; it makes my belly look like some inflamed knee.)
Today is my third official day of maternity leave. I’ve run a ton of errands, had lunch with my mom and sister (bonus!) cleaned and slept…a lot. I got the changing table and bouncer down from the attic and (watched my mom) hang curtains. Every morning I wake up with the hubs and Bug, help get him ready for school and then go back to bed for at least two hours. Good thing too since I’m waking up several times a night.
Nothing is happening. I have an OB appt this afternoon and will keep ya’ll posted. Say prayers for a short(ish) labor and a successful VBAC.
Thanks for all the nice messages. Keep ’em coming.

Good luck! PS – Don't let them strip your membranes. It hurts like heck and doesn't normally do anything.
Good luck, lady! Just remember that interventions roll like snow balls… so if you want a VBAC, try not to get ANY interventions. Trust that your body knows what to do. You can do it! I'll be praying for you.
Happy due day! I hope your appointment goes well and you have a safe and satisfying VBAC! I am pulling for you!
I hope your appt goes well– I know you're SO ready to meet the little lady!
We're thinking about you and baby girl! As someone else said, trust your body! I look forward to seeing a picture of you holding your little girl! (And your men can be in it too… 😉 )
Praying hard for you! A natural birth will be a breeze 🙂 I can't wait to meet the little girl.
Good luck! Love living this vicariously through you 🙂
inking about you, girly.
What a beautiful knee you have. 🙂 Hope you're doing well today!!
Um, I'm with Erin about the membrane stripping. I had a doc come in to "check my progress" during labor and it was excruciating! When she finished she informed me that she had stripped my membranes to help things along. UH! WHUCK?!!! Thanks for warning me, doc! Hope you're well!
