Day 7…30 Days of Truth
October 23 was my six year wedding anniversary. It was probably the most uneventful anniversary I’ve ever had. We were in Greenville, SC at my 10 year college reunion. We spent Saturday at a football game with the Bug and then had dinner with friends. After dinner, he took the Bug back to the hotel and I went out for drinks. By the time, I came back, he was asleep. Two hours later, the Bug woke up with croup and we spent two fitful, frightening hours in the bathroom with the shower running and then with our baby boy between us making sure he was breathing correctly. Extremely romantic.
It was still an amazing, wonderful day. Why? Because I married him in the first place.
He makes my life worth living.
There isn’t a day that goes by where I am not utterly grateful that he’s in my life. He makes me laugh. He makes me think. He pushes me to be different, to step outside my comfort zone but loves me for exactly who I am.
He is my BEST.
In the past, I sort of made fun of the people who said “they just knew” when they met their future spouse and were sure they were the ONE. But it’s true. I just knew. Even as we were dating (six years!), after just a few years, I knew I didn’t ever want to be without him. He just makes me better.
So Day 7 is dedicated to my husband. My one and only.
I love you more than all the stars in the sky.

Girl this post made me cry. Also I think we might of had the same wedding dress.
