Weekly Appreciations

May 10, 2010 By Erin L. Leave a Comment

Given that yesterday was NOT the day I was hoping for, I though it would be a good start to the week to talk about what is going RIGHT in my life.

Today, I am thankful for:
1) Having a child and being able to celebrate Mother’s Day at all. There was a time a few years ago that I was worried I wouldn’t ever be a Mother, so cranky child and all, I am so thankful to have that adorable little WonderBug in my life.

2) An amazingly awesome husband. He’s a doer. Yesterday, I had both breakfast and dinner made for me with thought and love. Plus he washed and cleaned out my car. I know he loves because he gives of his time. Thank you honey!

3)My own mother – amazing superwoman that she is. And the fact that she lives 4 miles away is a god send.

4) Brownies. Sometimes it’s the simple things.

5) Sunshine. It’s a beautiful day and I’m going to sneak outside in a bit to try to soak it in.

What are YOU thankful for today?

Great Gratitude List! This reminds me I have to write mine, too.

Thank you for the comment 🙂 You are very right – it's scary, all the things we have to "trust" for our children. It's really scared me into being as organic & natural as I possibly can. I don't know enough about it, so it's baby steps for now – but I'd be angry with myself if I didn't at least try to do better for my son, ya know?

I'm thankful my hubby puts family first! He offered to leave work early yesterday to take care of the kids because I was sick and progressively getting worse.
