This is a thank you post. In fact, I’ll make it my WEEKLY APPRECIATION list, but start with a giant, humongous thank you.
1) THANK YOU READERS! Between my whiny, someone peed in my cornflakes post and my struggle with deciding to try for kid #2, ya’ll had some FABULOUS feedback. It’s so helpful to know I’m not alone in my struggles with motherhood, working, and just being.
I really appreciate ya’ll taking the time to read my posts and to share with me your opinions.
2)Even though my poor little man is under the weather AGAIN, I got about 10 minutes this morning where he was all snuggled up against me. It was utter perfection. I could smell his sweet little head and hear his breathing. He just laid against me while I sang “you are my sunshine” over and over. Pure happiness.
3) Wine. It has helped my week tremendously.
4) I am thankful for commitment and determination. We haven’t done our 30 Day Shred video in well over a month. We are doing it TONIGHT by golly, come hell or high water. And we’re going to keep it up…all through June.
5) (Boy this defeats the purpose of #4) The candy bowl at work. This work week has been challenging for many reasons, but a baby Twix can make the day just a smidge brighter.
