I love shopping.
I have spent over $100 on a single pair of jeans.
I have spent over $50 on eye cream.
So why oh why, do I have a hard time spending money on UNDERWEAR…something I wear each and every single day of my life. Seriously. Bras and underwear are my shopping nemesis. I have bought some of the cheapest items on the planet, all in the name of not spending a ton of money.
Yes, I’m an idiot.
This past weekend, I hit up Kohl’s. I had my 30% off coupon and was ready to go. Hands down, it’s my favorite place to buy undergarments, and I wasn’t the only one who needed them. Both the hubby and WonderBug needed new undies too.

I spent $80. EIGHTY DOLLARS on underwear. I choked back a shriek considering I’d saved money with my coupon. It could have been worse. But I came home with three pairs of panties, two bras, four pair of boxers and a pack of Spiderman underwear. Not bad. Not bad at all.
My priorities are so warped. I wouldn’t have blinked at spending $80 on a new outfit…that I might wear once a week or a few times a month. But somehow $80 on underwear seems crazy.
Am I alone?

Oh! You are SO not alone! I am the same way. Every once in a while I break down and buy a new bra. At Walmart.
I’m the same way… to a point. I used to be that way about *all* under-things. Now, I still bristle at spending the money on boxer shorts for my husband and underwear/panties for me, but when it comes to bras, I willingly shell out the cash. With a chest the size of mine, fit matters. The other underthings I don’t hesitate to spend the money on — Linus’s boxer briefs. They’re just too cute to not.

Nope. Not alone. I keep them until they get holes or the elastic rots. LOL Hate to waste money on them when the outfit (which I’m also thrifty on
) is what is seen. I will visit department store for proper bra fitting & spend a little more there. Gotta get that one right. 
I definitely have a hard time because no one sees it! Plus I am very picky these days.
